Yarn Along

My knitting, like my reading is a bit scattered. It's all a matter of what I feel like at the present moment. For the most part I have no deadlines so it's all fun.

I do have one deadline and that's to get this shawl finished for my cruise. I have a little less than two months which under normal circumstances wouldn't be a problem. But, like most of my projects lately, the yarn is fine and the needles are small.  So we may have this on the needles for a while.

The yarn and needles are lovely. They look like signature needles. I can relate to projects that have been taking a long time to complete. I'm thinking of two knitted blankets that I started a few months ago.

A cruise is a great incentive to finish. I know you can do it!

I think my daughter would call that a cotton candy shawl. It's blissful and does look like a boating shawl with such light and airy open stitches and the colors! Beautiful! A cruise sounds so wonderful right about now...

Sometimes having those little deadlines is just the push we need to keep plugging along on a project. Your beachy shawl will be perfect for your cruise.
