My Reyna Shawl is nearing the end. I'm on the last repeat and I'm looking forward to blocking it.
I didn't get much reading done this week. I have been listening to "Animal Vegetable Miracle" by Barbara Kingsolver though. It really makes you think about where your food comes from.
What are you reading as knitting?
Joining Ginny.

Oh! What a texture! I am sure it will really bloom after blocking!
Love, love, love the colors of your yarn and have got to get a copy of the book. I've seen it on several blogs and know I'd like it. Happy knitting,
xo Lisa :)
Love those colours in the yarn :)
There is a lot to love in your photos - that lovely yarn, the shawl itself, cool needles, bag, and stitch marker. Soon you'll have a squishy, warm shawl!
Beautiful yarn for your shawl and the stitch marker is so cute! I enjoyed the book and it really does make you think.
The yarn is so beautiful, such soft earthy colors. Can't wait to see it done.
I am knitting the Pats cowl and the March through Time cowl. And I'm reading Unbecoming. I think it's going to be good but I'm not very far into it yet.
You really knit that shawl fast Donna and can't wait to see it.
Animal, Vegetable, Miracle is one of my favorite books and yes, it does make you think.
very pretty shawl and cute stitch marker! Have a great week
gorgeous colorway :) I haven't read that book but i've been interested.
That yarn! I can practically feel it over here - looks amazing, great job!
Beautiful, beautiful yarn it looks amazing and the little stitch marker is a real delight.
One of my favorite books but so not feasible for our place and stage in life to implement exactly what they did despite my hearts desire! It is hard to find ways to work out those kind of ideals in the middle of big agriculture land of central WA! I love the color of your shawl!
Love your little stitch marker! And I also love Animal Vegetable Miracle - an amazing book that I love to read over and over. It definitely makes you think about sourcing your food :-)
I love the yarn in that shawl. You have a great little stitch marker too.
ooooh that is soooo beautiful!!! the perfect rainbow of colors for fall and the stitch markers not bad either!!!!
Yummy and cozy!!!! Love it! *hugs* :)
Such pretty yarn. Love how the stitch marker compliments it! Super cute.
Oh my that is beautiful. What colors!!!! Cutest stitch market I have ever seen.
Reminds me of indian corn still on the cob. Lovely!
Lovely shawl and fun stitch marker! I need to get some snazzy stitch markers... most of mine are just boring plastic.
I didn't even know Barbara Kingsolver had written a non-fiction book, but it sounds really interesting! I just added it to my to-read list. :)
Lovely earthy shawl and the cute little charm.
Awesome yarn! I love a novelty stitch marker too - mine are pretzels! :)
What a lovely autumnal shawl that will be and I love the stitch marker. It co-ordinates so well with your yarn. I've only read novels by Barbara Kingsolver so far but must try some of her non fiction works too. This sounds really interesting...
Can't wait to see your finished shawl.
debx
gorgeous yarn!
Stunning! I've been crocheting an afghan and listening to A Tale for the Time Being. Animal Vegetable Miracle is DEFINITELY on my TBR though!
I love all of Kingsolver's writings. She is one of my favorites. The shawl looks pretty and those stitch markers are totally cute!
The colours of your shawl are very beautiful!
It's beautiful. I hope you will post a picture of you wearing it after it's all blocked!
