Yarn Along

My Reyna Shawl is nearing the end. I'm on the last repeat and I'm looking forward to blocking it.

I didn't get much reading done this week. I have been listening to "Animal Vegetable Miracle" by Barbara Kingsolver though. It really makes you think about where your food comes from.

What are you reading as knitting?

Love, love, love the colors of your yarn and have got to get a copy of the book. I've seen it on several blogs and know I'd like it. Happy knitting,
xo Lisa :)

There is a lot to love in your photos - that lovely yarn, the shawl itself, cool needles, bag, and stitch marker. Soon you'll have a squishy, warm shawl!

I am knitting the Pats cowl and the March through Time cowl. And I'm reading Unbecoming. I think it's going to be good but I'm not very far into it yet.

One of my favorite books but so not feasible for our place and stage in life to implement exactly what they did despite my hearts desire! It is hard to find ways to work out those kind of ideals in the middle of big agriculture land of central WA! I love the color of your shawl!

Lovely shawl and fun stitch marker! I need to get some snazzy stitch markers... most of mine are just boring plastic.

I didn't even know Barbara Kingsolver had written a non-fiction book, but it sounds really interesting! I just added it to my to-read list. :)

What a lovely autumnal shawl that will be and I love the stitch marker. It co-ordinates so well with your yarn. I've only read novels by Barbara Kingsolver so far but must try some of her non fiction works too. This sounds really interesting...
Can't wait to see your finished shawl.

Stunning! I've been crocheting an afghan and listening to A Tale for the Time Being. Animal Vegetable Miracle is DEFINITELY on my TBR though!
