Yarn Along

My knitting mojo kinda left the building for a few days.  I have managed to work on socks because that requires no brain cells.  I still want to sit at the beach every time I work on these.

If I have no knitting mojo you know there is zero reading happening.

Well that's a wrap!

Inspire me - what's on your needles and nooks these day?  Join me at Ginnys.

I go through those phases too, especially in the warmer month. Lately we've had a lot of rain, so my knitting mojo has returned. Right now I'm knitting a hitofude and loving every minute of it! I do believe I'll have to make another one after this one because I'm enjoying it so much!

My knitting had slowed down a wee bit, but now it seems to be back in overdrive, all I want to do is knit.
Oh, and I always want to sit on the beach and knit, but I guess that isn't a surprise.
Those are really pretty beach socks and I think you should just come here and we will go to the beach together.

knitting without brain cells is where it's at :) Love the colorway and hope you can muster some heavy duty knitting by the end of the weekend!

Sometimes I go for a week without picking up my knitting and then the "bug" hits me again. So much other stuff to do this time of year out in the garden and such.

I am so envious of your skill with knitting socks, I love the luxury of hand knitted socks but lack the skill to do it. Beautiful colour combination.

I've been feeling like that recently too. Even socks weren't working for me as a mindless project. Luckily my mojo seems to be coming back a bit now, hope yours does too. Love the picot cuffs on your socks

I really dislike when that happens to me! I just started learning to crochet so hopefully that will keep me busy making if I'm ever feeling like not knitting for a while (or just want to give my hands a break from so much knitting!) I've been working on a single crochet blanket to use up some cotton yarns I've had stashed away. I like the colors in your socks. I still have yet to try knitting socks, but there are so many pretty patterns out there!

Socks are one of my favorite knits. I do hate it when the mojo leaves and there are so many reasons it does. Ek, but the color of your socks is enough to revive anyone. They do say beach, my favorite word. Can't wait to see them finished. Love them!!

I wish I could knit socks and not use brain cells! One of Julian's new co-workers, (a dude!) knits socks and I'm going to have him teach me!

I really love the colorway of that yarn. I have been plodding away at socks. I wish I was as into knitting my current pair of socks as I am into finishing them. I don't love them. I don't dislike them, but the chemistry is off.

I will try to wrap this up just to dent a lace weight shawl and I think I'm going to join the Undine KAL and I dunno, maybe cast something new on. I am excited to knit, but I'm a little all over the place at the same time with the knitting -- with minimal time. go figure.

You will get you mojo back. :) Meanwhile your needles still look good.
