Weekending

Before I talk about the weekend I just wanted to thank all of you who left me kind comments last week.  I felt like I got a great big hug from each and every one of you.  It was a very quiet week.  I didn't do much.  I didn't even really knit.  But I felt OK.  And like I said  before, life goes on.

This past weekend was Samfest at Slater Mill and they asked us to come and spin.  It was a nice day listening to music, checking out different craft vendors and enjoying good company.

Our guild holds it's meetings at Slater Mill each month but I never really walk around and get to admire it's beauty.  It such a pretty spot.  So the weekend was refreshing and we are ready to take on a new week!

How was your weekend?

Donna, that is a beautiful area. I love the architecture. Looks like a very peaceful place to knit and spin.

I am thrilled that you walked around the mill and took photos, what an amazing place to sit and spin. I honestly hope to one day travel to your state and see all the beautiful sights you post and maybe I can get a spinning lesson ;)
I'm glad you are feeling alright. I has a rough last week, getting the box of photos and letters really did something to me and it didn't help that August is the month of my Dad's birth, but you are right, life goes on. Hugs my dear friend.

I love Slater Mill and I think it's a great spot for spinning - all that history! Look out for the ghosts, though! I'm glad you felt hugged by all of us, that's a great comfort, I'm sure.

I'm glad your blog friends gave you a virtual hug. And I'm glad you were spinning this weekend, how nice to be doing what you love with who you like to be with in a perfect setting!
