I have been playing with my new Turkish spindle lately and am getting the hang of it. Rolags are very convenient when it comes to spindle spinning. I will be purchasing more of these in my future.
Absolutely no reading lately - the time change has me falling asleep by 9 PM these days.

Now that is an interesting spindle, I've not seen one like it before.
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who is falling asleep so early, I just thought I was really old!
That is a lovely spindle and I also love the fall colors in your fiber!
Quite a few of my friends have starting using a Turkish Spindle lately. I don't spin and I can now recognise them! Love the fibre you're using, what wonderfully bright colours!
The time change has hit me pretty hard too - it's so dark so early :/
I'd probably get better at spindle spinning if, you know, I actually did it. LOL.
that spindle is lovely, and i wool you are working with looks great, that will be some fun yarn
What a great photo! So I spin on a spindle but have never used a rolag. Do you spin worsted or woolen with them?
A very pretty spindle and gorgeous fiber. Perfect for the season.
very lovely! the time change really does throw one, hey? I just realized that this is what accounts for the earlier darkness... well, thank God for Christmas... can't wait for the lights!
This looks very interesting! And I love the colours of your wool! Lena x
I really do want to learn to spin!
The colours of the wool are enchanting you are a very talented lady.
i'd buy that spindle just because it looks so cool! (I don't spin!!!!!)
I fall asleep at nine at night and get up at 4:30!!! just as tired in the spring :/ Love your spindle and your rolag (killing the spelling) and the colors!
I hate this time change! I have no energy for doing anything after supper....and that includes getting two little girls ready for and in bed!
I love the spinning! I think we should make a date this winter to get together so you can teach me :-)
What beautiful wool!
Looks great! I like the "fall" colors!
