New England Fibah Part 2

So the attitude at New England Fiber Festival, at least in my mind, is that it's the last hurrah for the year so go buy what you want because you aren't going to another festival for 6 months.

So I indulged a bit.

I got some great fiber from Chrystee at Play at Life.  She's a guild member and a friend and I love to give her my business because what she sells is awesomeness.  I have no clue what this will eventually be.

These rolags that were in yesterday's post came from Cheryl at June Pryce Fiber Arts.  Another guild member who has some beautiful fiber.

The yarn is from Play at Life as well.  These will become a shawl.  I'm still deciding which one.  I think this will be my retreat knitting in January.

This is from Bitsy Knits and will become three ply yarn for socks.  The larger braid is Blue Face Leister and the smaller one is Silk/Bamboo/Nylon (I have to admit I don't remember exactly but it is something to give the yarn some strength and structure.  I want this one on my wheel now.

Speaking of on the wheel now I have to make a spinning plan.  My cabinet is getting pretty full and I'm not sure what I really want to spin next.

And my white corriedale fleece is on it's way home from Morro Bay Fleece Works.

I better get moving.....

I thought your post wouldn't be too dangerous since I don't spin and can still resist fiber, but then I looked at Chrystee's web site. She's got some wonderful yarn that I know I'm not going to be able to resist. Thanks for some lovely enabling!

I like that plan of buying what you want and boy, you bought some beautiful fiber! It's a good thing we live so far apart or I would be raiding your stash ;)
