Yarn Along

I have been playing with my new Turkish spindle lately and am getting the hang of it. Rolags are very convenient when it comes to spindle spinning. I will be purchasing more of these in my future.

Absolutely no reading lately - the time change has me falling asleep by 9 PM these days.

What's the fun stuff happening in your fiber and literary world?  Join us over at Ginny's

Now that is an interesting spindle, I've not seen one like it before.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who is falling asleep so early, I just thought I was really old!

Quite a few of my friends have starting using a Turkish Spindle lately. I don't spin and I can now recognise them! Love the fibre you're using, what wonderfully bright colours!

The time change has hit me pretty hard too - it's so dark so early :/

I'd probably get better at spindle spinning if, you know, I actually did it. LOL.

What a great photo! So I spin on a spindle but have never used a rolag. Do you spin worsted or woolen with them?

I hate this time change! I have no energy for doing anything after supper....and that includes getting two little girls ready for and in bed!
I love the spinning! I think we should make a date this winter to get together so you can teach me :-)
