Yarn Along

It's been mostly sweater knitting over here. My goal the end of this week is to be done with the body and start working on the sleeves.
I still need to find buttons. I'm not sure why I'm so picky about that but I am. It's also lots of reading of Catching Fire. I've got about 80 pages left and seats for the IMAX to see it next week so I need to finish quickly!

What are you reading and knitting lately?

I want to see Catching Fire in Imax too! I better get my tickets. I really want to get a sweater casted on myself.

I am sleeve knitting this week and like you am on the lookout for just the right buttons, they really are the most important part of a sweater ;)

"Catching Fire" was the best of the series. I hope you enjoy the movie.

I have a small collection of vintage buttons and sometimes, if I'm lucky, I'll find some that work for a knitting project. I'm working on socks right now and not having much luck finding time to read.

I like the color of that sweater! I think buttons are hard too.. I can't wait to see what you pick! We aren't movie people, really, but we will probably see Catching Fire eventually. Enjoy!

I have yet to see the Hunger Games so who knows when I will see Catching Fire. You knit quite quickly. I think buttons are an important part of the finishing. The wrong button can make a sweater look sad.

I think that one of the joys of knitting your own sweaters is getting the buttons just right! :-)

Buttons can make or break a sweater, I am right on board with your search taking some time.
Catching Fire just drags you along, doesn't it? Enjoy the movie!
