It's Wednesday and you know what that means? It's time for Yarn Along where I show you what I'm knitting and none of what I am reading. That's just where I'm at these days and I'm not apologizing for it. One day there will be time for both....
With the Superbowl I had some great knitting time. I finished my Crosswords Shawl (which shall have a post of it's own) and I have since moved on to some sweater knitting to help along with my 2013 Goals. I cast on for the sleeve last night.
Kinda boring. I know. I'm hoping I will have enough yarn for the sleeves.
I'm making up the pattern as I go along. It is based on Klaralund which is a Noro pattern. I couldn't find the pattern and it didn't really matter because I would have to totally improvise anyway because it doesn't have my size. I have back up yarn in case this doesn't work out. I am really enjoying the process of designing my own. I just have to remember to keep writing it down so I remember what to do on the second sleeve.
As I'm sitting here writing this I am getting the feeling that I should have used the original yarn I liked. I have a feeling you may see something totally different next week.....

Cool color, doesn't look boring to me, looks yummy.
I always liked that Klaralund sweater - I bet yours will be even better!
Oh, I can't wait to see what you create! This is quite exciting :) Love the yarn!!
agree with Sandy; and even if you do revert to other yarn it will be part of the learning curve for designing
