Photo Shoot..... Check

I was able to get my Oaklet Shawl out for some pictures last night before the sun went down.  I tried for a couple of modeled shots but when I asked for a volunteer to drape it over their shoulders in the 95 degree heat they all ran screaming. No guts I tell ya.  One day I'll figure out the automatic timer on this camera and photograph myself. So there.
I love how the batt spun up but the next time I will chain ply.  I am not a huge fan of singles but I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get decent yardage out of it like Diane.   I'm willing to give a go next time.
I made some mistakes on the lace portion but I won't tell if you don't.  I started to get downright impatient towards the end.
I'm sure I will knit it again.  It only took 2 weeks from start to finish.  It would make a great prayer shawl.
I hear it will be cool enough to actually wear it next week.
And I'm kinda looking forward to that.  Have a great weekend everybody.

It came out beautiful!!! I love it and the yarn. Be prepared for me to pick your brains (and borrow things!) soon so I can learn to spin my own yarn! I can't wait to knit something and say "oh NBD. I knit this but also spun the yarn." :-D
