A Tisket a Tasket

A basketfull of Christmas presents.

I have been busy knitting away these last couple of weeks. I have lots of knitting that I want to do for Christmas. With the economy what it is I thought it would be nice to make some presents - not just for economical reasons, but because it takes time and lots of thought.

I have been spinning but not nearly as much as I would like. See what I got at Rhinebeck?

I finally treated myself to a Golding spindle. I got some baby llama there too and it is the softest thing I have ever felt. I could just sit and snuggle with it.

Turkey Day was great - small family gathering at our house. We did the Black Friday early morning crowd scene. We had no specific items to get so there was no dissapointment. Got some good bargains though and I am proud to say that I am just about finished with my Christmas shopping. A few internet items to get but that is all. As a matter of fact - I even wrapped the gifts I got.

What I looked forward to the most though was sitting and knitting in front of

I needed a four day weekend in the worst way and I am just about ready to face the work week again.

And can anybody guess what I succumbed to????
