My knitting mojo is slowly making its return. I'm still working on sock #1 in my Highland Handmades yarn. The colors remind me of Irises. I had a friend in NY that had such a beautiful Iris garden. I always wanted to plant some but never have.
Plain old vanilla. My favorite.
Speaking of favorites, this book has been my favorite so far in the Blossom Street series. It's about a group of widows who decide to make a list of 20 wishes for themselves. I kinda like that idea. I may even do the same. Kind of like a bucket list of sorts. Hey I'm 50 now - gotta do this stuff while I'm still young!

There's nothing wrong with plain old vanilla - be it socks or ice cream!
I love plain sock knitting, no thinking and completely auto pilot! My mojo is here just waiting for my wrist to behave 100% of the time.
those great colours make up for the sock being 'just' vanilla!!! Don't look plain to me!
Vanilla is my favourite!I have sock envy they look great! :-D
The colors knitted up so pretty on the heel! Nothing plain about it!
I always have sock envy when I see your wonderful knitting. The yarn is real delight.
Very nice yarn, neat how it is variegated but also coming out striped, as well. :)
I love the colors in your yarn. I love your story about them reminding you of something. I try to buy yarn everywhere I travel with colors that remind me of the something special on the trip. Makes the homemade much more special! Beautiful.
