Because I needed to cast on something else (stop laughing) I saw the ZickZack Scarf at a yarn shop over the weekend and fell in love with the changing colors. Fingering weight yarn on size 3 needles is slow going. Add to that a pattern that I need to pay attention to and this one is a very slow one indeed.
I'm figuring it will be done for Christmas.

hahaha! It looks like a lovely scarf! And I am sure you will done well before Christmas :-) Although that fingering weight...that scares me a bit!
You are so funny!!! It looks like it will be worth the wait though....such beautiful and fun colors!!!
This is the second Zick Zack I have seen in recent days... I love how it looks! And, yes, I am laughing with you - Christmas 2017 seems about right for me!
LOL! Have more faith in yourself!
I'm betting against you....that beauty will be done long before that!!!
love the colors of that yarn. Thank you for your visit
Love this textured chevron pattern! I usually make chevron with the crochet hook, but looks like knitting it also creates a very interesting visual effect!
love the variegated yarn!
That yarn looks so warm and soft and squishy! Beautiful!
I'm working on one of those scarves, too, but on size 2 needles. It's going to be a long process!
Very pretty scarf pattern and yarn! I'm trying so hard to resist cast-on temptations. I don't think I can hold out much longer.
hehehehe, it is beautiful, love the colors!!! patterns/paying attention, the bane of my existence!!!!
Love the colors!
Pretty pretty ! I would never take on that long a commitment! You are amazinG1
How could you resist colors like that? :) Beautiful.
I'm loving the color choices. It will look amazing once it's finished. 😍
I'm still knitting my zick zack. I had a lot of it done, but messed up and had to restart. But it will get done eventually (or so I keep telling myself). I'm using size 7 needles - two different colors of variegated yarn) and I cut down on the stitch count.
Yours is looking good!!

While it may take a while to finish, it's going to be beautiful!

Wow such bright colours!
I almost passed out when you said fingering weight scarf in size 3 needles! Are you going for sainthood? It does look good! The color changes are quite lovely.
It is beautiful! It will be worth it, It think!
That yarn and pattern combo is amazing! Wishing you finish-itis!
Yup - I cast on a little something new as well. It's good to have something to keep us out of REAL trouble...
