After my project from last week didn't work out so well (the yarn and project weren't playing well together so off to the frog pond it went) I had to cast on for some instant gratification. So a Baable Hat went on the needles and the color work has commenced. Very fun project!
I started reading Living Well Spending Less. I just started it so no opinion yet.
Today is the last day to sign up for the knitting swap so please join us if you would like.

I have that hat in my queue, I just need to get the yarn. I really do love the hat and am thrilled to see you do too.
I will be looking for that book, sounds perfect for my world.
Your hat is so cute. I think I may have to knit one. Looks like a great book.
Oh my goodness! The sheep hat is SO cute!
I love your colors! I have that in my queue and I just need to run up the road a bit to grab the yarn! Yours is darling.
I just finished that book. Overall I thought it had some sound advice and I liked that she made her own personal life very public as an example of what not to do.
I love that hat...I'm not ready to tackle something like that yet but love seeing everyone elses! The book sounds very interesting!
Love the hat! The book was pretty good for me. I think I have read so many books on contentment lately, it is starting to sink in :-)
That is the sweetest hat ever!!! Your colourwork looks great - very neat!
Oh, that hat is totally adorable!
cute hat!!! :)
Baable!!! Looking great! It's my next hat project. I adore those sheepies!! Living Well, Spending Less. Um, I guess the 5 skeins of yarn I bought today don't really fit that philosophy! But they are for specific projects, I just had to!!!!
So cute. I have to try this as I've never done fair isle before and apparently this is a good project to start with. So so cute!
Cute cute hat! I just sent you a message on ravelry!
I have that hat in my que, but I also have way too much in my Que...someday, someday. Love the book, my favorite subject.
Love the colors in your hat! I've not heard of that book before but it sounds interesting. I am going to see if my library carries it. Thanks for sharing!
I've got that pattern on my "to knit list", too. It is just so sweet.
That's going to be a very fun hat! enjoy wearing it!
That is such a great hat, I love the sheep. The book certainly sounds interesting.
I love this pattern and you're making it look great!
Lovely! Everybody is knitting this cute hat and I might need to do it too, sadly I don't wear hats, but I love knitting them haha so maybe I'll have to gift it... but that pattern deserves a try! hehe
warm hugs :)
