Yarn Along

After my project from last week didn't work out so well (the yarn and project weren't playing well together so off to the frog pond it went) I had to cast on for some instant gratification. So a Baable Hat went on the needles and the color work has commenced. Very fun project!

I started reading Living Well Spending Less. I just started it so no opinion yet.

Today is the last day to sign up for the knitting swap so please join us if you would like.

Joining Ginny.

I just finished that book. Overall I thought it had some sound advice and I liked that she made her own personal life very public as an example of what not to do.

I love that hat...I'm not ready to tackle something like that yet but love seeing everyone elses! The book sounds very interesting!

Love the hat! The book was pretty good for me. I think I have read so many books on contentment lately, it is starting to sink in :-)

Baable!!! Looking great! It's my next hat project. I adore those sheepies!! Living Well, Spending Less. Um, I guess the 5 skeins of yarn I bought today don't really fit that philosophy! But they are for specific projects, I just had to!!!!

Love the colors in your hat! I've not heard of that book before but it sounds interesting. I am going to see if my library carries it. Thanks for sharing!
