Yarn Along

Still working on socks. This is a skein of Fortisimma Socka that I had in the stash from a sale at Webs. My niece pointed out that those are the colors of the German flag so I may have to give those to her since she's half German. She travels to Germany every year so I'm thinking she would love these.

So much for the original plan I had!

What's on your needles these days?

I see you are using the magic loop? That's how I knit my first socks...was considering trying DPN for the second pair. Worth a try, or don't bother?

I like the flecked look of your yarn. I started a pair of socks a couple of weeks ago and seeing yours has reminded me I really need to finish the last one - got to the heel so not far to go :)

Yes, those are the colors of the German flag. :-) I've actually made 3 pairs of socks out of yarn like that and the girls and I sport them quite often during the winter.
