My Rhinebeck purchases! I had my list and I knew where to go. Building C was my happy place.
I saw this batt online from Into the Whirled and fell in love sigh gas colors. I grabbed it first.
I liked these bright colors. I'm not sure how I will spin it yet.
I'll be aching to work on something bright like that over the grey winter.
Then there was Miss Babs. I love the Yowza and enjoy knitting shawls with it. It's just the perfect sized skein.
There's some Fall colors. And of course I always end up with some blues.
Towards the end of the day I went into the Fiber Optic booth after it was quiet. I picked this up.
A pretty gradient set. All of a sudden I heard "cherish that beauty!" It was the Yarn Harlot. We chatted for a bit and talked about what I could make with it. A spectra cowl was discussed, perhaps a shawl. It came home with me because if the Yarn Harlot tells you to buy something - you just do. And nope - I didn't ask to take a picture. Again!!
And I'm actually reading a book.
There's about 8 books in the series. I'm hoping I enjoy it. So far so good.

Wow, Donna!! That is some beautiful fiber and yarn, and I'll bet you'll be cheered by all of it throughout the winter! I especially like the blue since I'm knitting with a pretty blue myself right now. :) No picture???

I love your yarn! I am planning on trying the Miss Babs soon. I will need to order it online as my LYS doesn't carry it - dang it!
One of the things I'm really enjoying knitting right now is a scarf pattern called "Windward"... just fun!

Your buys at Rhinebeck are wonderful. I so want to go back to Rhinebeck soon, I had the best time there 2 years ago! I still have plenty Rhinebeck buys in my stash…Miss Babbs for sure!
It was such a pleasure to hang out with you on Saturday. My friends bought quite a few gradient kits at the Fibre Optic booth. I read the second book in that series and enjoyed it so will now start at the beginning. Honestly I think it was better than the books Maggie Sefton writes.
