Weekending

It was a grey Autumn weekend but with a good mix of activity and relaxation.

We spent Friday night at the Providence Bruins game. It was exciting to get back in the swing of winter sports spectating. We met up with friends afterwards for a drink and a bite to eat.

The rest of the weekend involved lots of knitting - finishing up two pairs of socks and starting a shawl. What else do you do while watching football?  And they were really GOOD games to watch (yay Patriots and Giants on your wins).  Sunday ended watching Formula One racing as we cheered Lewis Hamilton on his 3rd World Championship.

Wood for the wood stove was delivered and I had my first hot chocolate of the season. Summer is over my friends!

How was your weekend?

It's hard for me to say this, but your Patriots are doing amazing this year, while my teams (Steelers, Cowboys, and Seahawks) aren't doing so well. At least my Seahawks won yesterday, but they were playing SF who are 2 & 5. Woe is me :) Hoping Big Ben is back soon!

I hope it's over here soon, we have been a little warm the past week. Today it is overcast and rain is in my future, but as long as it doesn't flood I'm okay with it.
You make me smile with all you sports love, I have a sister who loves them too.

I love the fiber friendly that are sports friendly. The two things go hand in had for a good weekend. It's a good time of year for a shawl, oh who am I fooling? It's always a good time. hehe. It's a very pretty pattern you've chosen.

Sounds like a nice weekend. Autumn is in full swing here. I'm working on a Reyna shawl also. It's a very nice pattern.
