Yarn Along

One of my yarn purchases last month included this Madeline Tosh Merino Light.  I wanted to knit another Color Affection but this time in summer colors that reminded me of the beach,  I have visions of wearing this to the Cape next month (OK - so I might still be knitting it on the Cape) and was ready to cast on.

I am almost finished with Knitting as Sutra and it was a very relaxing read.  I'm listening to some humor this time with Sheepish.

I promised myself I was going to knit from my stash for awhile and then I came here for a visit. Donna, those yarns will make the perfect beach shawl and now I want to knit one exactly like it!
I loved reading Sheepish!

You are a bad influence on me: I just ordered an audio version of Sheepish. It sounds like a fun summer read!

Those colors will make a beautiful Color Affection.

Those will make the most beautiful color affection!!! That pattern is on my list for some time in the not too distant future. I am trying to work on my stash first...which is why this is the year of the socks. Except that I've bought enough sock yarn for four pairs of socks over the past six months. It's for gifts though so that's how I'm justifying it. It's not really helping my stash go down though!!
