Yarn Along

So this is a Weekending/Yarn Along post.  I started my relaxing Saturday morning sitting on the deck knitting on a sock for a while. I made great progress on it and my goal was to finish the pair by the end of the weekend. It was possible. I could do it.

And it came to a screeching halt. By 10 pm I was feeling kind of blah. I would go to sleep and refresh myself and wake up with needles ablaze.

I felt like a truck hit me Sunday morning. It backed right over me again Monday and I'm happy to say that today the truck has moved on. Three days later I'm feeling refreshed. And ready to take on another sock.

Glad you are feeling better. There is nothing worse than feeling like crap in the summer! We are planning our trip to Rhinebeck. I think we are flying in on TH and will drive up that night. One of the other mama's booked our room so I'm not sure where it is. When it gets closer I'll let you know and we can make plans to meet up!

so glad you weren't down for the 'proverbial' count....aren't socks just the greatest summer knits??? Need to get back to mine again. This is totally off topic but....any chance you are going to the Cape this summer? I think you posted a photo last year that put you on the same beach we were walking just days before!

oh that sucks you were hit by the bug. Love the socks, hoping to learn how to do them by the end of the year, I am just starting month 4 in my learning to knit this year "programme."

Those bugs surprise us when we least want them around, glad your better now. Love that sock, yarn name please! I adore knitting socks but am never over the moon regarding the fit, not sure what I’m doing wrong. Have a great day!

Aw that's no fun, although I get what you mean about not feeling it sometimes. At least the first sock looks excellent :)

Are those signature dp's? Do you like them for knitting your socks? I am still looking for the "best" dp's to knit my socks, any suggestions would be appreciated...
Glad you have recovered, those bugs can hit out of the blue at times.
