Yarn Along

It's been a whirlwind of fiber lately. I kinda want to work on everything. So I am.

I'm spinning up some alpaca/wool for the Game of Thrones Mystery KAL that starts this weekend.  I should be done with the first half tonight.  I want to make sure I have enough before I spin the whole pound this time.

My sock mojo has returned and I'm working on my second Atlantic Current sock. I'm so anxious to get these done because I have some beautiful sock yarn waiting for me when I'm done.

I'm reading The Photographers Guide to Nikon 1. It's a manual with tips and tricks. With the extra pictures I'm taking for work I needed some extra reference.

So how's life in fiber land?  Please share over at Ginny's

I bet your home is wonderful with all the fiber fumes floating around.
Your book sounds like something I need to read. I hope one day to take photos in manual just by instinct, right now it takes me forever to take just one photo because I have to run each step over in my head.

One of these days I, too, will be reading a similar "book" but for now, I'm trying to be content with the camera I have and being sure I'm using all its functions properly. I'm hoping that maybe for my b-day later this fall that I'll get a new camera...a girl can hope, right? Happy spinning, Donna. :)

Pretty pretty! I have had such fun the past few years shooting in manual and slowly reading a book Ginny actually recommended. My pictures still arent great but I can see improvements!

I am loving the colours of your sock yarn and look forward to seeing the completed pair. Ooh your Mystery KAL sounds like it will be interesting, do you know what piece of clothing you will be making?
