Weekending

Saturday was the CT Sheep and Wool Festival
A nice sunny day, but boy was it cold in the beginning
We got there at 9 AM and were finished promptly at 11:30
Each of us had a list of what was needed and checked each item off as we went along

You knew I was buying some fleece, didn't you?
This Shetland fleece was bought and promptly dropped off at Twist of Fate for processing
Sunday was spent taking care of the sick child
Even at almost 20 they still need their momma
A positive strep test (the first time ever for her) and some antibiotics did the trick
Thank goodness for CVS Minute Clinics

And now we are ready for another week.  How was your weekend?

I had fun teaching Sunday School again this Sunday! I love the kids energy and enthusiasm!

Aw, hope your daughter is feeling better soon. I'm excited to see your new fleece! Is that a baby goat? Too cute.

I hope your daughter is feeling much better by now. What is that in the third picture down? Some sort of tiny loom?

I have got to plan a trip to visit you, we can attend a fiber festival, see the whales, dye and spin some yarn; we would have a lot of fun together!

PS- I was telling Mike that I needed him to bring me some salt water so I could use it for dyeing, I bet it will be so pretty.

My weekend (and the week before it!) was great. Reality bites, though! LOL

Oh that baby sheepie is so cute!

Hope your baby is feeling better - strep sucks, no matter how old you are!
