Yarn Along

Dear nieces, nephews and assorted parental figures. Christmas knitting has been moving along wonderfully. I'm almost thinking we have a shot here. Until this arrived in the mail yesterday.

It's from The Cozy Knitter and it's taking everything in my power to not cast on Christmas socks for myself.

Is it cheating if I at least use the holly stitch markers for  the current projects I'm working on?

Oh alright - I'll go back to my gift knitting.

But by Christmas Eve I WILL be either wearing or knitting these socks.

Oh my goodness, I love those stitch markers. No, I don't think it's cheating if you use those, but just remember the Christmas list, my bet is on you finishing it! :)

Using the stitch markers is definitely not cheating :D And I can understand the yarn being distracting, it's lovely!

Hope you manage to get through the Christmas knitting quickly so you can get to your socks!

That wool is looooovely! I am also resisting the urge to cast on things I shouldn't be. The wool for my Christmas knitting project (mittens) arrived this week and I really want to start them!! :)

So glad you love it. I may be bias but I don't think it is cheating to use the markers ... but I am hoping our yarn doesn't bump anyone off the knit-mas list.

I would've posted much sooner, but I was distracted by your Mistletoes kit. I just lost part of my life on Etsy thanks to you ;) I would have to cast on. ack!

I'm late to the party but just had to say I'm so glad you love the wool! I say cast on and leave it out....Christmas decorating!

I love the stitch markers. So cute!

I would cast on the yarn and then reward myself with a couple rows after finishing a Christmas knitting project. That will encourage you to finish stuff faster. :)
