Yarn Along

The Sock Adventures

Sock on a plane

Sock waiting for breakfast at the pool

Sock having a cocktail by the pool

Sock and those towel animals - they are very playful

Oops - another cocktail by the pool

The sock is in the airport waiting for the flight home

The sock is complete now. There wasn't quite as much knitting as I thought there would be during the cruise. There wasn't much reading either but I am on chapter 3 of Mockingjay.

Joining Ginny for the fun.

It looks like the sock had a wonderful time! Maybe another cruise to finish the second one?

I see lots of sock knitting on the airplane. They are small and portable. I had a lady show me magic loop on the airplane. That's why I decided to give it a go!

The sock should have had more cocktails.

Love the colors!! If you didn't finish the sock or reading I would say it's because you were having a great time!! Or you were too drunk from all the cocktails?

I took the same wool to make socks on our trip to Mexico in January!! I didn't get much knitting done either.

What an adventure! Hope you enjoyed it too! I thought knitting needles were banned on planes are they ok now?

I love the angle of your post, fun and creative! Sock looks lovely, great colours. I brought yarn for a shawl on a trip to Tenerife with me during the Easter hols - it saw very little action as well. Boring parts of the trips are the flights anyway. Have a Happy Weekend!
