Yay for charity but I'm back to my selfish knitting. And it's all Janet's fault. I saw her Inspira Cowl and fell in love.
I dug into the stash and off we go. I'm still trying to find my groove with the stranded knitting. I tried the Yarn Thimble but it just doesn't work for me with the way I knit.
Reading won't really be happening till next week while we are on vacation. And I'm still trying to decide which book to bring.

Oh my goodness, I clicked on your link and now I want to cast on an Inspira Cowl too.
I bet you are super excited to get to reading a book on vacation as well as knit. Lovely selfish knitting :)
Your cowl will look lovely I am sure. I am guessing that you knit english style if you cannot use the yarn thimble? I do too and my tip for knitting colourwork is to separate your balls of yarn and place them on each side of you. I find that this way they tend not to tangle up as much but keep your eye on them, once you see them start to cross over one another detangle and keep going.
I hope you find your Groove soon :)

This looks so great, I may have to knit it!
I take the blame :-) Isn't this a fun pattern to knit? Love your contrasting colors and can't wait to see your progress.
If you bring your kindle you won't have to make any choices on what book to bring!
