Yarn Along

I have been noticing Pebble Beach on the blogs on Yarn Along Days and I knew I wanted to cast it on.  But what yarn to use?  Clearly I have a collection to choose from.

Then I remembered this beautiful gradient I got from my friend Chrystee at Play at Life and it was a match. It has been moving along quickly and as with any lace patterned project I cannot wait to block it.

Reading has been rather slow, but I am still listening to Outlander.  I watched the first episode Monday night and I like it.  I think I will wait to watch the rest until I finish the first book.

Linking up with Ginny.

Love it!!! I don't know how you would put this down, a beautiful pattern and any kind of colour changing yarn always draws me in. This will be absolutely beautiful

What wonderful yarn! I'm working on a project that I started 4 years ago... hoping this is the winter I wear it. I just want to wrap up in yours!
Keep 'reading'

Listening to Outlander? What a great idea! I always forget how much I love audio books, especially while knitting-I didn't know that one was available! Did you find it online?

I love your wool, so lovely. And your project bag is adorable.

I have yet to knit with a gradient. When I'm at a fiber festival this year I might just dip my toes and see what I find! Lovely as always, donna!

Your shawl is absolutely stunning! I love knitting or crocheting with gradient yarn: it's always a great surprise to see just what kind of life that yarn will take on!

My husband is thinking about starting Outlander, but he's wondering if he should read the book first or just dive into the show. Any suggestions?
