It was a soggy Fourth of July for us but that's OK. It was a good excuse to stay inside and get things done. The rest of the weekend was perfect weather which during the evening had us outside watching fireworks (which I couldn't get a good picture of), sitting by the fire and chatting away. It was also the start of Tour de France, which also means it was the start of Tour de Fleece. I spent a lot of time at my wheel and got going on my project. Of course there was always knitting and some reading, a bit of grilling outside, and loving the three day weekend.
How was your weekend?

Sounds like a great weekend, I didn't even mind the rainy 4th!
it does look like you had some great porch time!!! what fun spinning al fresco!!!
Your spinning is beautiful. I have never tried it and I'm afraid I'd love it and then not have enough time to do that either!! Just not enough hours in a day!!
love the polish :) Yay for the start of spinning! I know you'll make some beautiful yarn.
Donna, your yarn is really pretty and so are your nails. I have GOT to learn to spin!
I'm in love with your nail polish! It's so fun! Sounds like a quality weekend!
Love that polish on your toes and fingernails!!
Oh, how I would enjoy learning how to spin on a wheel!
