I spun some more of my Shetland alpaca blend.
It looked like I had so much in those bags but when you spin it boy does all that shrink down! I still have another bag to finish. Hopefully by the weekend.
I have been knitting on my Magic Cake Ruffle Shawl.
It's so much fun seeing how the colors are looking together.
I also love seeing my sock yarn leftovers be put to good use.
Not much reading lately - I have been catching up on podcasts while I knit my shawl.
So what's on your needles and bobbins these days? Share with us over at Ginny's

Your Shetland alpaca blend is beautiful, great color.
Have you always been a spinner? I am always curious if it's something new or something that was grown up around.
are you my twin? I've been catching up on podcasts and knitting as well. I am woefully behind on many. Love the sock shawl with left overs :) your spinning is lovely!!
Beautiful colors!
It's lovely watching your shawl progressing. Can't wait to see what it looks like when it's finished :)
Your spinning is so pretty and I love the colors in your shawl.
I love those colours together!! I can't wait to be able to spin my own, especially when I see posts like this!
Your Shetland alpaca blend looks beautiful! And, I love your magic cake ruffle shawl--what a great way to use up sock yarn leftovers.
Beautiful shawl! It looks like such a fun pattern/knit. I have sheep but no spinning wheel, yet. Shoot, I can't even get the hang of the drop spindle lol! Great job with your spinning!
thanks for stopping by!
I would love to be able to spin!
Your knitting if lovely - I am teaching myself to get beyond the knit stitch.
what podcasts are you listening to? I am always looking for something to listen to when the littles are in bed and there is nothing on tv

I am so far behind on my podcast listening. I'm hoping tomorrow I may catch up on two of them.
Love your blend! You should link up on SPUNDAY at threadybearquilts.wordpress.com
