Yarn Along

You would think I would have so much to show this week for Yarn Along!  Most of my weekend was spent spinning.  I did finish My Hope but it is still blocking and is waiting for a proper photo shoot.  And let me tell ya blog friends - I really need to go outside to do it justice, and with the wind chills being below zero, it may be a while until I get to do that.  I did get working on my next pair of socks (because with all this cold weather, you realize you can NEVER have too many knitted socks).
And that's about as far as I got.  Tonight is scheduled to be quiet, so I am sure they will get some love then.

How are things in your knitting world?

I would say spinning your own yarn is a huge accomplishment. What pattern are you going to use for that yarn?

Pretty yarn! I'm working on a pair of plain socks and also the Through The Loops Mystery Socks for 2013. And that's about it these days.

I wish I could spin!
It's cold here this week too.
Your sock yarn is beautiful and you're right - you can never have too many pairs of socks.

Lovely yarn! I've got a swap project going (can't wait to be done!) and two requests in the wings for a cowl and mittens!

you can never have too many socks, hats, scarves, mitts etc...if you're a knitter. Get casting on because the yarn is lovely!
