Yarn Along

It's been a while since I participated in Yarn Along.  It feels good to be back in the routine again.  As for reading - it's a magazine here and there.  I spent an hour at Barnes and Noble yesterday and it felt great.  It saddens me how empty that store is now.  I'm not sure if it's the online allure of Amazon and their cheaper prices or if people are just reading more digital books (I know I am).

As for knitting, I'm still enjoying 'My Hope'.

I have one more repeat of the pattern to go.  I would like to do one more if I have enough yarn.  I'm not sure if I will make it though.

It's easy enough for TV knitting but adds enough fun with the twisted wrap rows.  And that suits me fine these days.

What are you knitting lately?

One of Ree's favorite places is the lego table at Barnes and Noble. I agree though, it always seems empty. I love browsing around book stores. The yarn is gorgeous! I love the color.

did you find a planner? I hope so! I think B & N is hit by the digital readers and non readers, why else would they make half their store toys?? That is the case of the one I frequently visit. Lovely knitting!!!

I was in B&N recently too, but it seemed busy. Of course that was during the holidays, so everything seemed busy to me. I picked up a planner though - not a book as I too read ebooks more and more. Lovely wrap. I am eager to see it completed.

Love the colour of your yarn.
Can't wait to see it finished.

I am knitting a pair of picot edge socks, the Through the Loops Mystery socks, and the Bodhi Mittens. I'm still reading Shadow of Night but I'm almost done!

The twisted wrap rows look interesting, I've never seen that before.

The B&N that I go to shares a parking lot with Whole Foods so both stores are always busy. I know what you mean, it's been a while for me too with the yarn along. It feels good to be back in the groove.

Hi Donna, thanks for taking time to visit my blog and leave a comment.

I really like the yarn you're using for this pattern and the twisted parts are beautiful.

Beautiful project!

I am not knitting much. I have a couple of hats going and some projects that I've forgotten about. :)
