which was an early Christmas gift from hubby. We will visit with friends and enjoy some snow that is apparently heading our way. I'll hopefully finish this sock
so I can work on the brown scarf and then move onto the Lacey Baktus.

Love the colors you are using. I haven't heard of that book-now to go look it up. I hope we get some snow. It has been a rather snow-poor winter so far for us too.
Sounds great! I got my chores done this morning so now I can relax and knit for the rest of the weekend. Oh, and Dale's band is playing tomorrow night so I'll be going to see them with some friends. It's been ages and it will be fun to get out and dance!
I just put that book on hold at the library!! I can't wait to see your socks when they are finished. I'd be happy for the snow except that it's our niece's 2nd birthday tomorrow & we have a half hour drive to her party. I'm keeping my fingers crossed the weather doesn't keep us from going!
That's a great book. I laugh so much while reading it. The sock looks great. I just need to face the crowd at the market to get a few regular items I need. (Not bread or milk) lol
