Watermelon Socks

I cast on a new pair of socks last night. I'm calling them Watermelon socks because that's what I think of when I see the yarn.



Nicole had a jumper when she was 2 years old that looked like a watermelon and had those exact colors.

I was hoping to get to the heel last night but I was exhausted by the time I actually got to knit at 9:00. I wanted to go out on the deck this morning and knit on them for a while but it had rained and it was actually chilly. I guess when you go from 96 to 59 degrees it feels cold! The next few days look sunny and beautiful so Im sure outdoor knitting will commence.
