The next stop was Puerto Rico. Our plan for this island was to take a quick tour to get the idea of what it was like. Then go find a beach for a little while.
Our tour guide didn't understand much English. He took us to a beach first (not a nice beach with crystal blue water like we were looking for, but one where his amigo was selling souvenirs). We laughed and took out the selfie stick and made the best of it).
We wanted to see El Morro on the journey but didn't get there till the end. We got out of the car and looked up - it was beautiful.
This was my first picture of El Morro. I never noticed how high the curbs were and tripped. Fell right on my ass. But got some pictures along the way.
Two gracious gentlemen helped me up. My family was admiring El Morro and never saw me fall. The two men complimented me on how graceful I was while falling down. I didn't really hurt myself. It was comical actually.
I recovered and we pulled out the selfie stick.
For those who follow me on Instagram you have seen the video of my daughter dancing with the homeless man. They had a great time.
And here was Puerto Rico as we were leaving. There were some pretty scenes for sure.
