Yarn Along

I'm  still working on my pair of socks.  I ripped them out a few times because I didn't like the sizing. They were way too big at first.  Then I didn't like the cuff.  And now we are settled in and knitting right along.

I'm trying the Eye of Partridge heel for a change.  I like how it looks and it's working well with the yarn.

I finished reading  A Good Yarn and am on the wait list at the library to download the next in the series, Susannah's Garden.  Did I ever mention how much I love Overdrive?  What a great way to download books for free.  And since I am terrible about returning books (the library is on the other side of town) this eliminates the problem since I download them onto my iPad or listen on my phone. I'm reading This Is Not A Love Story by Judy Brown.  Very interesting story about a Jewish family with a son who is mentally challenged.  It's holding my interest.

That purple and green yarn is the best and I love how it's knitting up. You are going to have a lovely pair of socks!

Love them Donna! I am enjoying the eye of partridge heel too, it's something different to do instead of my usual heel.

Love that sock yarn and I'm knitting purple socks, too. Overdrive is a great service, I agree!

Love your socks! I think I would appreciate Overdrive even more if my small town library had more available through them... they have many treasures but I still find that there are many books I can't get that way either and will just have to buy them. But when I have used it it's been so wonderful!

Just popping by to see your knit this week. I do like that colour combo.

The colors in your yarn remind me of a flower garden, so pretty. The EOP heel works really well with variegated yarns. I just installed Overdrive yesterday and am looking forward to getting started. I'll have to check on that book.

I love the colors of your sock yarn. One of the last pairs of socks I knit had the eye of partridge heel and I really like the look and fit of it.

I use overdrive, but not as much as I used to!! Great socks, bummer about the ripping though.

Love the socks and love love eye of partridge heel. I'm soooo terrible at returning books. It's one of my long term marriage lies...did you go to the library Patty? ;-)
