On A Friday Night

We planned to go out last night to celebrate with Nicole since she passed her HESI exam. It is necessary before she applies to the nursing program so she is relieved that she can check one thing off that long list.

It became evident on my way home from work that my brakes were making strange noises and needed repairs ASAP. So we cancelled our plans and stayed home. We made a fire and had food delivered.  And then we heard about Paris. And we didn't want to be anywhere else but home.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of them and all of us who are living in a very scary world.

That looks perfectly cozy. I'm thankful we are all safe but so sad for the lives that have been ripped apart.

That's the perfect photo to show the comfort of being home with your family in a sad and scary time. I am glad that there is Nicole's good news, so congratulations to her!

Congratulations to you daughter and passing her exam. It is a beautiful and cosy scene so far removed from the awful atrocities going on in the world. My prayers are with all those affected in Paris.
