That Time of Year

For my birthday my hubby got me a new sun tea jar. I'm not a huge tea fan but I have been putting Tazo Passion Tea bags in there for a fruity flavor.

Do you have any interesting iced tea flavores? I'm afraid if I don't get some new ideas the next thing in that jar will be yarn and kool aide.

I only drink hot tea, but my crew here drinks ice tea year round, there is always a pitcher in my ice box.
In the winter months I like chai, but in the hot summer I find rooibos quite refreshing.

If I'm drinking iced tea, it's often mint - Celestial Seasonings Peppermint is my favorite. Hope you find something to your taste, although that yarn and kool aid sounds like a great idea!

Yes. Put some long island iced tea in there instead.

My favorite right now is Good Earth which is spicy and works well both hot and cold. Love, love, love your new sun tea jar, Donna!

I love making sun tea, but haven't had a chance to brew any yet this Spring... I use whatever is handy. :)

I like cold vanilla rooibos, jasmine / green. I love the idea of having a jar / pitcher available all the time. hmm ...

sun tea reminds me of my mom, she made it all the time! I would drink a tall glass while reading books on the swing.

I life raspberry or peach. I usually get a can of peach slices and drain and reserve the liquid. Put the slices in the freezer and then add the juice to your tea. Then garnish with the slices instead of ice. Yum yum!
