My yarn is complete. 280 yards of polwarth from Blue Moon Fiber Arts. I started out with 8 oz. of fiber and navajo plied it. And..... I am short 80 yards for the project I wanted to use it for. I was sure 8 oz. would have been enough to make over 300 yards of a bulky yarn.
Oh well. It's a good thing CT Sheep and Wool is this weekend.
No reading for me this week - I have a cold and have had a head ache every day. After staring at a computer all day the last thing to help my head is to read some more.
So what are you doing with fiber lately? Come and share with all of us at Ginny's.

I'm sorry you are short on the yarn, but gosh, it's gorgeous Donna, and you MADE it! Awesome.
I hope you feel better soon, a cold is no fun, but add a headache on top if it and that's the pits.
aw shame you didn't have quite as much as you wanted. It's turned out beautifully though, what vibrant colours
Hope you are feeling better. I had a nasty sinus infection a month ago and had headaches for days. No fun. I love the yarn you've made. The colors are so vibrant.
the yarn is lovely! bummer there isn't enough for your project. feel better!!
That is some of the most gorgeous yarn I've ever laid eyes on...and you know we've all seen a LOT! ha! :) Beautiful, Donna! Sorry it came up short, but beautiful nonetheless! Can't wait to see it all knitted up...
xo Lisa
Such vibrant colours a real delight. Hope you are feeling better soon.
now that is one beautiful skein of yarn, great job! I really want to try spinning and have been contemplating a drop spindle for a while but am getting so confused by all the options, I guess I just have to take the leap and give it a try
Beautiful colors! I'm sorry you don't have enough for your project, hopefully you can finish up some more soon!
Drat on that 80 yards short thing - that's a bummer. But, the yarn is beautiful in any event. Enjoy CT Sheep & Wool. I'm off to Maryland Sheep & Wool the first weekend in May.
that yarn is so WONDERFUL. I love the colours, wow. so sorry about the off by 80 yards part! :( and about the not feeling well. no fun at all. hope you get much better and soon!
swoon- the colors are brilliant- so very pretty.
Have fun knitting!
Oh wow, those colors are amazing! I am always drawn to the colors you choose. I hope you feel better soon!
Hope you are now headache-free! That yarn is divine! I haven't spun multi-colored fiber yet. That must be my next purchase once I spin through what I have. I'm sure it is just as addicting as knitting multi-colored yarn!
Such rainbow goodness! I hope you'll find a different project for this beauty!
So close but 80 yards short :( Oh well you will have to buy more yarn! That is always fun!
I hope feel better soon!
How frustrating to be just short for your project, it's lovely yarn though beautifully spun :). Your cold and headaches sound horrible hope they are gone soon.
That is such a shame as that yarn is gorgeous. I'm sure it will find a suitable project!
What a shame it's not enough for the project you had in mind, but I'm sure you'll find a project for it. Such gorgeous yarn!
Gosh those colors are so beautiful and vibrant! Sorry it's not enough for the project you had in mind...

I love that yarn. Thanks for mentioning CT Sheep and Wool Festival. I didn't know it was this weekend. I might be able to go.
I'm sorry to hear about your cold. I hope it passes soon! I've been down with one this week but fortunately, it hasn't stopped my reading.
I love your colours!
