Yarn Along - I'm Late - Again

I swear it won't become s habit but today couldn't be helped. We left the house early to go to NY to lay my grandfather to rest. It was a lovely service and a nice celebration of his life. It was interesting to see the "family plot" and talk about the great grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins that went before us.

On the trip back I got some knitting time in. The sweater has become too big to take along so I worked on my neglected Weigh It Shawl.

My heart still goes pitter patter every time I see this yarn. The color and the softness make it such a great project to work on.   I know there will be another one in my future (besides that purple skein I'm hoarding).

I'm glad the service was lovely and your granddad is surrounded by loved ones.
I love yarn that makes my heart go pitter patter, it makes the great craft of knitting even better.
Happy Easter Donna.
