There's one problem with having so many crafts that you love to do. You can't do them all at once. After spending the last month knitting my Hiro sweater I had the urge to do some spinning. I still have over 2 pounds of my brown fleece left to spin. But when it's all spun up I probably won't cast on for that sweater until the fall. That is some heavy wool.
And then I remembered I had my Less Is More Sweater that I spun for last July for Tour de Fleece. After I started knitting the sweater it became apparent that there was no way I had enough yarn. So I bought some more fiber a couple of months ago to spin for it.
It's only 4 ounces and I can get that spun pretty quickly. Once that is done and plied I can start my sweater again. It's a short sleeved sweater in pastel shades which would be perfect for Spring time.
And then I remembered some gift knitting I wanted to do as well. They are some very deserving recipients too. They love my knitting and wear whatever I give them frequently. I really should knit them something.
I sat back, I thought about it. I started knitting on the gifts. I went to www. amazon.com. And I ordered gifts instead.
Life is too short for "shoulds".
PS - I started knitting a Weigh It Shawl with my pretty yarn from yesterday. But alas, I didn't have a size 9 needle. I SHOULD have that size, but I don't. Another one of those "shoulds"

So much spinning and knitting we want to do and so little time to spend doing it!
I totally agree with you...Life is to short for shoulds...
I agree with you. Life is way too short for shoulds. I feel like everyone is becoming a little more lively with spring coming. I'm waiting on some yarn to get here so I can start my friends baby blanket.
You are such a dear and don't you just love Amazon? I am there a LOT!
I am with you of being short of time and having too many hobbies! 24 hours is not enough
hmm, I thought I published a comment but now I'm not sure.. I gave up 'shoulds' years ago when it came to knitting for gifts, sometimes the list is way to long and daunting!!
