A Different Weekending

We were expecting it so it came as no surprise when the call came that Grandpa was finally resting in peace.  This past week he was feeling uncomfortable and we prayed he would not have a long time to suffer. The picture above was from our last visit - we Facetimed with my brother and my grandfather was amazed at this technology. I'm picturing the two of them smiling like that today as they are having an amazing chat up in heaven.

thinking of you. what a great photo.....there is a joy and gleam in both of their eyes; don't you know they are comforting each other at this very moment. (hope they aren't up to any mischief!!!)

I was looking at a photo of my pappaw this morning and I thought of you Donna. Even though I now you were expecting it I know it's still hard. I will be keeping you in my prayers. Hugs to you.

So sorry for your loss. Your grandfather's expression reminds me of my 97 year old mothers experience with FaceTime. She was unable to attend hey daughter's wedding so we set up the iPads. It made her feel as if she was there! Sadly she passed away a month ago. We all miss her as I'm sure you will your grandfather
