Random Thursday

This picture makes me laugh.  It was from the weekend.  And it would look like any other picture I may have posted during the year.  My favorite chair, my mug, my knitting and my phone so I can listen to my book.  The things that don't belong - a blanket and snow!  But I did enjoy myself for a little while out there - and I felt refreshed after breathing in some clean outdoor air.

So onto some random - because that's what I have for today and you get see the craziness in my head. I'm generous that way ya know.

-my hat pattern is done and just needs a few tweaks.  I have to figure out how to put it all in a PDF so people can just download it.  I love how it came out and I was able to capture the image in my head and make it reality so that was pretty cool.  It also needs some good photos.

-it's about to snow.  Again.  No big news there.

-March is almost here and I don't know whether to smile because Spring is that much closer or cry because it is the longest month with historically the lousiest weather.

-I have a couple of project deadlines that I need to re-evaluate because I really don't think they will happen on time.  I must be losing my touch.  Or just getting old.

-Grandpa is doing better and is being released from the hospital into a rehabilitation facility to he can get his strength back.  The doctor said his body is just old and the parts are wearing out, but he's comfortable and when he is awake he still knows what is going on around him.  We are taking it one day at a time.

What's going on in your world?

Great picture! We got 7 inches of snow yesterday and AL pretty much just shut down. No work, no school for us again today. :-)

I was thinking about your Granddad and am glad for the update, wonderful news!
How fun to design a hat and when you release it to the world I will be casting on!

I'm glad Grampa is doing better. I love the photo, the colors of your knitting, mug and blanket all compliment each other very well. And the snow? the snow is a good backdrop to the things that bring you joy :)

On a Mac you can make any file a PDF. Just open up your file and hit print, when the menu comes up go to the lower left corner and click, save as PDF. Other OS I have no clue, when I didn't have a mac I used Adobe.

So funny! While we don't have snow on the ground, it's been cool and rainy again, but we need the rain. I sat out on my front porch this morning while still in my robe sipping coffee and listening to birds chirping and greeting the day. So nice to get some fresh air! Congrats on the pattern! Just save it in Word as a PDF, then you can add it to Ravelry as a download. If I can do it, you can do it! :)

Glad your Grandpa is leaving hospital :)

I love the colours of the yarn you're knitting, and the way it ties in with your blanket as well lol
