I started another pair of socks. I decided to change it up a bit and try the Atlantic Current Socks by Melissa Sibley. Such a fun pattern! Im using some stash yarn - the tag says Supersock Select by Potluck Yarn. It's a nice sturdy yarn that's soft and should wear well.
I'm still reading the The Amish Knitting Circle and really enjoying it. It feels good to get my nose back in a book!
Joining Ginny and the others for inspiration.

That is a great looking sock pattern, I will have to try it.
So, are you snowed in? Did you make snow ice cream and go sledding and sit by the fire knitting all cozy in a wool sweater watching an old movie? All my winter dreams. :)
Love the colour of that yarn.
That yarn is so pretty. I would like to make some socks for my kids, but need to learn magic loop first.
Sock knitting is going to be my next knitting adventure! I love how these are shaping up
Looks like a fun pattern, I love knitting socks.

love the slipped stitch design!! Beautiful colorway as well, is that a notebook underneath? lovely :)
I'm liking that pattern, too...and the yarn. :) My library doesn't carry The Amish Knitting Circle. :( I've put it on my Amazon wishlist, so I'm hoping one of my kiddos finds it there and buys a copy for me for Mother's Day.
xo Lisa :)
Those socks look lovely! :)
The pattern in that colorway looks great!
Well, we finally got some snow here in Wisconsin, but it all fell on a Sunday -- no day off work!
I love your daughter playing in the snow, even if it did last for less than a minute!
