Weekending

It was kind of a lazy weekend. I woke up Saturday with the urge to do nothing but knit and bake. So that's what I did. I felt guilty for about 5 minutes but it passed. I read for a while, listened to some podcasts and updated Ravelry. Now we are preparing for a blizzard that's going to last from Monday afternoon through Wednesday morning. So it looks like a couple of "work from home" days ahead and more knitting by the fire.

No complaints from me.

I was in the mood to cook today so I baked a hotel style turkey breast. There's enough for a few days. :)

Spinning and knitting are both happening here too.

My husband works third shift and has already told me he will be home tomorrow night and probably Tuesday night as well.

Stay warm and safe in the blizzard.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that. :-) Sometimes you just have to take time out for yourself and enjoy.

Sounds like a nice weekend. Love the blue yarn. I've been away from podcasts for a bit. Time to catch up.

I love days of knitting and baking, they make for a wonderful day. Hey, you read! Is it something good? I am so far behind on updating my Ravelry page, maybe I should do that today.
Enjoy the winter storm, I am so envious!

I always envy the "work from home" days and then I realize, I don't work so I am already home. But it just sounds so thrilling to have that to look forward to, so I guess that's what I envy, the thrill. LOL, yes I am quite weird.

That blue yarn is gorgeous! Sunday was my do nothing day. Sometimes ya gotta relax and just be. No need to feel bad about that. Sounds like you relaxed just the way you wanted and needed to.

Enjoy your week!

I'm jealous! I'm jealous of the knit/bake only day, and the fact that your side of the country is getting copious amounts of moisture (I do want everyone safe and sound!) Stay warm, enjoy your knits!
