It's rare to get a snow day for me. I have four wheel drive and unless the bridges are closed, I'm at work. With the predicted blizzard nobody took a chance and we all stayed home. I did do some work earlier in the day but afterwards I got down to some spinning and reading. And we never lost power which we were thankful for.
And yes - my daughter is a bit crazy. That snow play lasted about 40 seconds. Then straight to the woodstove she went.

Glad you didn't lose power and that your daughter enjoyed the snow (even briefly!). What a dare devil. :) Wish we would get some snow...it's been warm here (several days near or at 60F!). Yesterday I sat in the car knitting while waiting for the kids' algebra classes to finish. No shoes, short sleeved top, and windows down. I don't ever remember a January so warm here in our corner of the country.

Looks like a great day except for that snow plunge!
Thank you so much for sharing your snow day, I love it! I would have stayed outside for hours!
I thought that was a squirrel tail coming out of your spinning wheel!!! OMG I need new glasses. Brrr, she's a little daring or touched, I'm not sure which.
I got cold just looking at that picture!!
hurray for snow days !!! Have a great weekend...
I'm glad you had a day off and stayed home to craft! Your daughter is quite adventurous :)
I like your way of celebrating a snow day.

I cannot believe everything you have been up to! Where have I been?!? I love the picture of the desk with the yarn in the foreground. I like your daughter's spirit!
