I was craving a good steak this week and hubby answered my prayer and got me a filet. It was delicious. The following were in my kitchen this week but had to be moved outside.
Flowers for my natural dye garden. Slowly but surely they are popping up.
Cucumbers. Or so I'm told. Hubby planted these.
Green beans. These took off like crazy once we moved them to the deck from the little kitchen greenhouse we set up. 4 days ago they were just peeking out of soil.
Basil - one of my favorites.
Collards. I'm not sure who's eating these. I can tell you who's not.
Tomatoes. I'm not sure what varieties he picked this year.
An assortment of herbs. Looks like the rain is coming so these will all be headed back in my kitchen. By next week they should be firmly planted in the garden. And some of that basil might be used in my sauce on Sunday.

Hello Donna! I need to get to the greenhouse and pick up a few kitchen herbs as well. Have a nice day!
I'll come to your home and eat the collards, I love them! Do you need a really good recipe? I have one that will have the greens melting in your mouth! Maybe I should do a blog post.
Love the garden pics.. Herbs are so wonderful.. Your kitchen will smell lovely..
Your herbs are amazing...ours aren't too bad at the moment too.
That steak! A really good steak is irresistible. And I love all the greens in your garden right now.
We were also thinking about a good steak. Maybe tonight! We've been planting a few things in our garden, but holding back on others until we're sure it's warm enough. Your garden goodies look great!
Beef! Amen to that! What plants for your dye garden?
That steak looks amazing. Love the seedlings!
Oh my... good looking steak! I love your plants too...
That steak looks fantastic! Just think of all the yummy things you'll be growing and eating soon. Gotta love summer!!
Every spring my grandfather would fry up collard greens and make me try them... he was sure that at some point I would learn to love them! (I didn't!) I hope my herbs look as nice as yours do when they come up!
I think you have a green thumb with all the newly sprouted vegetables in your photos. I love basil plants they are just so pretty to me!
