To be quite honest there wasn't a lot going on in my kitchen this week so I will skip the usual Blog Hop. With the birthday celebrations and holiday there was more eating out than in. But hubby did start on the raised bed for the garden.
I planted some flowers in the boxes and pots.
These are in the front of the house. I must have missed Pansy season since these orange ones were all I could find. But it's OK because it kind of set my color pallet for the rest of the flowers.
You true gardeners will know the name of this flower. All I know is that it only likes to be open when the sun is out.
Tomorrow after work I'll concentrate on getting my dye flowers planted in the beds. Veggies are already in. So we are ready!

I don't know what that flower is but it sure is pretty!
Your garden looks lovely, very envious of the amount of space you've got, and the sunshine! We're hoping to buy our first house this Summer but our garden is small and north facing :( I'm trying to view it as a challenge!
The raised bed looks great and so do your flower boxes.
You've chosen such pretty, happy flowers and colors. I'm looking forward to hearing about the plants you choose for your dye garden.
I love seeing your flowers! I need to plant more of those here, they really do make things pretty.
Ooh, that looks like a good sturdy raised bed that will see many-a-season!
Looking forward to seeing what you grow.
I've got flowers to plant this afternoon when my sister comes for a visit. I'm curious about your dye garden and can't wait to see what you plant!
