That Took Long Enough

And I don't just mean the shawl, I mean this blogpost.
I had the most difficult time posting these pictures.
I was determined to take some pictures yesterday after it snowed but there was no way I could do it outside.

Overall I like how my TGV came out.  I would use more yarn next time and make it a bit bigger.
I couldn't take any modeled shots - my selfies were awful.  But I'm wearing it today and it's quite warm. And it reminds me of Spring with all the pastel colors.

And that's a much needed thing right now.

Beautiful yarn Donna and it's great that it's keeping you warm right now.

I can't take selfies either.;)

Cute, cute! I gave up on that knit as it just wasn't working for me. Glad to see someone was successful with it.

Seeing your shawl caused me to buy my first pattern on Ravelry! I didn't want to set up a Pay Pal account because I didn't want to tempt myself before to start buying tons of patterns. But now that I've bought one, me thinks I may be in big trouble - LOL!

I've started mine this morning - hopefully it will turn out as pretty as yours! Well, it can't because your yarn is much prettier than the one I'm using. But I want to do a practice one and then will go out and get other yarn if I decide to do a second one!

That is awesome! Yes it can be a slippery slope. This was a fairly simple pattern and looks great in different yarns. I can't wait to see yours!

I've already fallen down the rabbit hole and bought another Ravelry pattern - LOLLL!

Question - what yarn did you use for this shawl? I've started mine in Sausalito sock yarn...
