10 On Tuesday

This is directly related to last weeks ToT. But it's the opposite. And you know what?  I had to think about this one a lot longer than last weeks!  I guess that's a good thing. I present 10 Things My Hubby Could Do But I Do Them.

1. Dishes. He hates them. But he cooks so I guess we are even.
2. Cleaning up "those messes". You know - when we were housebreaking the puppy, when the cat gets a hairball, etc.
3. Be the patient parent. He has no patience for commotion. We have lots. Even though we have an only child we rarely have "one" around. It's my job to corral them when necessary.
4. Dust. He's allergic. I'm ok with it.
5. Buy the gifts. I guess it's because my family is larger and they are the ones we usually buy for. But I'm the gift buyer.
6. Pay bills. Handling and coordinating the finances is what I do for a living. By default it's my job at home.
7. Chauffeuring the child. There's not much of that anymore but when rides are needed it's usually me.
8. Fold the laundry. He gets it done but I fold and put it away.
9. Bake. He's a great cook but I'm definitely the baker.
10. Make plans. I'm the social director. Somebody's gotta do it!

Join us over at Carole's for the fun!

Ha, my husband is so great with dishes or commotion either, but I love him anyway ;)

Sounds like you have a division of labor that works well for all of you.
