It's yet another Wednesday and that makes it a day for talking about some knitting. And occasionally a bit of reading. So what's on the needles?
It's Ingot. What a fun little pattern. I wanted to cast on something new for the Superbowl but it couldn't be anything substantial since my Knitting Olympic project would be taking up most of my time later this week. I bought the yarn around Christmas when I was knitting all the pleated ballet flats because I just love Mad Tosh.
Look at the blues and greens! I am hoping to get this done before Friday so I can actually wear it.
I'm reading A Dyers Garden by Rita Buchanan to help me make some plans for my little project.
What's new in your fiber world? Do share over at Ginny's.

love the cowl, and the colors are so deep and rich. Can't wait to see what you dye up!!
Oh what gorgeous yarn! I love the colors. I can't wait to learn all about your dye garden as it moves along!
I can't wait for the games to begin!
I have to second Karen's comment, love those colors.
I spied your spring counter, so cute.
Enjoy the snow and thanks for the snow thoughts, all I have is rain with 75 degree temps.
I do like that yarn! The depth of hand-dyeds is amazing ...
The Ingot looks like a fun (and practical) knit ...
ENJOY!

Ooh, lovely! I hope you finish quickly to enjoy it.
What beautiful shades of blue!
Such beautiful yarn, Donna! I've only knit with tosh once (my hitchhiker) and loved it. :)
That yarn has all of my favorite colors in it. *sigh* Would you mind sharing the color? So beautiful! :)
Pretty! Oh, olympic knitting... one of these days I will be prepared for that...
The book sound interesting. I checked out some books on dyeing fiber/fabric. But since I have zero experience with it, it all sounded like too much work.
Ooh interesting reading... And loovely squishy knitting. :)
Gorgeous yarn, your book sounds interesting.....
That yarn is gorgeous!
I love the colors in this yarn. Ingot looks really interesting.
Beautiful knit! A copy of that book is on my nightstand on loan from a friend. Jenny Deans Wild Color is wonderful too if you haven't had a chance to check it out. Little late stopping by from Yarn Along... Have a great weekend!
